国际学生入学条件

Please have your academic records from each secondary school you attended for the U.S. equivalent of 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grades sent directly from those schools to American University in sealed envelopes or via the Common Application. Students who study in 3-year secondary school systems only need to provide transcripts for those three years.

Internet based test (iBT) score of 85 or higher. Sub-scores for each section of the TOEFL must be 20 or higher.
IELTS (International English Language Testing System)- Composite score of 6.5 or higher. Sub-scores for each section of the IELTS must be 6.0 or higher

The public health bachelor of science degree is an interdisciplinary program that focuses on the scientific dimensions of health. The 58 credit hour BS is the degree of choice for someone who is interested in studying infectious and chronic diseases, environmental health, and epidemiology.<br><br>Graduates will be well positioned to continue their education in a number of different health areas, such as allied health, public health, or medicine. COVID-19 has brought the vital role of public health into the spotlight, but AU has been deeply involved in public health policy and addressing public health equity for decades. Our faculty focus on the scientific dimensions of health including infectious and chronic diseases, environmental health, and epidemiology. Gain real-world experience interning at one of DC's many prestigious public health agencies.
