If you are a healthcare professional with strong interpersonal and problem–solving skills and a desire to help others, then Seattle Central's Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) in Allied Health—Community Health and Education may be right for you. With this degree, you will receive the education and training needed to promote health and prevent disease within communities.<br>The Community Health and Education program prepares students for healthcare and advocacy careers in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, colleges and non-profits. Learn to evaluate local healthcare needs, assess the factors that impact healthcare delivery and design programs to improve community health. Students will complete 180 credits of coursework (including credits already applied towards a relevant associate degree), earning a Bachelor of Applied Science in Allied Health.
