Master of Public Health
Applicants should have a bachelor's degree with no less than a 3.00 grade point average. Test scores are preferably in the 50th percentiles or higher, but there are no minimum cutoffs.
Doctor of Medicine
Specific academic requirements include a minimum of 90 semester credits (135 quarter credits) in undergraduate arts and sciences courses. Virtually all accepted applicants complete a baccalaureate degree of at least 120 semester credits (180 quarter credits) from an accredited college or university. In all cases, the committee on admissions is more concerned with the quality of the applicant's education than with the number of credits or years of pre-medical training. Students who have received their education at a foreign school must complete at least one academic year of science course work in an accredited North American college or university prior to making application

To ensure a successful academic experience at Saint Louis University, we require international applicants to demonstrate they are proficient in the English language by submitting scores from any one of the following standardized tests:

Saint Louis University's Master of Public HealthMedical Doctor dual degree program is conducted under the joint auspices of the College for Public Health and Social Justice and the School of Medicine. The M.P.H. is offered as an accelerated program that can be completed in three consecutive semesters (summer, fall, spring) devoted entirely to M.P.H. coursework. The program requires completion of professional medical school requirements as well as the fulfillment of a complete M.P.H. with public health practice concentration (42 credits), which may include up to six credits of coursework from the School of Medicine M.D. degree requirements. Students interested in earning an M.D.M.P.H. apply during the first two years of medical studies to the College for Public Health and Social Justice. Upon successful completion of the first three years of medical studies, including all required clinical clerkships and steps one and two of the United States Medical License Examination, the student enters one year of public health studies. Students then return to the School of Medicine to complete the fourth year.<br><br>Year - 4 <br>Credits - 42
