There is increasing demand for high quality clinical research to underpin practice, and exciting new career pathways are available for suitably qualified practitioners to lead and develop this research provision. This course is based in the vibrant research environment of the School of Health Sciences and provides extensive clinical research training for allied health professionals, midwives, nurses and other professionals working in a clinical environment. The course is suitable for clinicians wishing to pursue a clinical academic career and conforms with the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) framework for this level of study. Clinicians will be prepared for a leadership role in research and may be able to progress to doctoral-level studies. Note this course is based at either Falmer or Eastbourne, depending on your supervisor and chosen modules.
