This programme combines academic rigour with the development of practical, transferable skills that can be applied in a wide range of health policy, planning and management settings. Focused on real-world challenges, this master’s degree is the ideal platform for you to explore in detail the many social, political and economic factors that influence health policy development across the world.<br>This master's in Health Policy programme is ideal for recent graduates as well as established professionals from a range of backgrounds looking to develop their career in the health policy field.<br>In this Health Policy master's, you will learn through a dynamic mix of lectures, class discussions and seminars, self-directed reading and interactive computer-based exercises. You will also take part in presentations and case study analyses and benefit from Moodle, City’s virtual learning environment. Modules will be delivered in-person (and recorded) or through a mix of in-person and online, depending on the modules chosen. Additional online seminars will also be provided for students who took the online study option. Your studies will be divided into four core taught modules and a further two or three elective modules selected from a broad range, in line with your own particular interests. You will benefit from a cross-disciplinary approach, with academic staff drawn from City’s School of Health & Psychological Sciences, together with a range of expert guest speakers.
