This qualification is designed for health professionals from diverse ethnic backgrounds as well as existing professionals who work in the health care sector such as health care assistants in Community Trusts, Aged Care Associations, etc. This qualification will allow them to engage in higher level study, in a non-threatening way, and in so doing, improve their current level of qualification. Currently there are many health professionals with a minimum qualification taking on management responsibilities, consequently this programme provides an opportunity for up-skilling in this sector.
