This programme will give you the additional skills and knowledge to provide and implement advanced and personalised support to people with complex needs. As you build your knowledge you will develop the expertise you need to take on higher leadership roles within your workplace. If you have completed the New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (Level 3) or work in the health and wellbeing industry, this qualification could be for you. Advance your health care career and become a senior caregiver, senior health care assistant or senior support worker in acute care, hospices or specialised dementia units, aged residential care or home and community support settings. You will complete a minimum of 200 hours of work experience on a placement arranged and managed by your clinical placement coordinator.
