国际学生入学条件

Applicants must have six subjects and two honours with minimum grade of OB3 in maths and OD3 in English/Irish. A QQI / PLC Level 5 entry route to this program is available. At least HC3 in one of: Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Physics and Chemistry, Biology, Agricultural Science, Engineering or Technology.

课程简介

In this course (which is unique in the country), you’ll learn how to measure and image the physiological activity of the human body and provide diagnostic information to medical staff. As well as learning through traditional lectures, you’ll gain extensive practical experience, including placement in a hospital. It’s not necessary to have studied physics before entry. In the first two years, you’ll learn about the physiology, anatomy and biochemistry of the body and the use of technology in providing a diagnosis. Subjects covered include Medical Instrumentation, Computer Applications, Imaging, Pharmacology, Physiological Biochemistry, and Human Physiology & Anatomy.
