The BGSacademic program aims to fulfil the School's academic mission by providing quality teaching acrosscore subjects, sciences, cultural studies, humanities and creative arts.The School stresses the importance of the continuity of curriculum from Middle School to Senior School. Students study a core curriculum of English, Mathematics, Science and Physical Education to Year 10.In Years 11 and 12, students construct a course of study consistent with the principles of breadth, personal fulfilment and meeting tertiary prerequisites.Years 11 and 12Students construct a course of study from a range of subjects that are designed and moderated by the Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA).All boys are required to study English and at least one Mathematics subject. A balanced course, consistent with the School's philosophy of a liberal education, must be maintained throughout the senior years of study.
