Throughout this two-year degree, you will learn how to work with other health professionals to provide the highest quality person-centred care. You will also study human biology, pharmacology, research and evidence-based practice, social contexts of health and illness, healthcare systems and more.<br>This degree is for those who have a non-nursing undergraduate degree and are looking for a career change to enter the nursing industry.<br>The Master of Nursing is a graduate entry coursework degree that will prepare you for professional practice as a registered nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia. The course is accredited by the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council and will provide you with the highest quality person-centred care, preparing you for work in local, national and international healthcare settings.<br><br>You will complete a prescribed course of study focusing on the health system, nursing practice and its contexts, care across the lifespan and include specific clinical areas such as mental health nursing, community health nursing and acute care nursing. You will also complete a minimum of 860 hours of professional experience in private and public hospitals, mental health services, community health centres and schools.
