Composition students receive three years of composition lessons where their individual abilities and interests are identified and nurtured. Coaching in performance, and instruction in music technology, contemporary theory, and analysis are essential parts of the program. Our faculty are accomplished professionals involved in the creation and research of music composition. Their works are performed at major festivals and concert venues both nationally and internationally.
