The LSU College of Music and Dramatic Arts is a performing arts community that trains, cultivates, prepares, and rewards excellent artists, educators, scholars, and performers fostering passion for the arts, collaboration and the creation of new works. LSU is a national flagship institution with world class intellectual and creative resources.In addition to ensemble participation, LSU offers prospective graduate students both masters and DMA (Doctor of Musical Arts) programs in wind conducting. The LSU Department of Bands provides a comprehensive experience for graduate conductors, including working within three concert ensembles, a chamber ensemble, and all aspects of the athletic band program.
