表演曲目在二年级结束时通过试听向高素质的学生开放，通过与表演曲目顾问协商选择的私人课程，乐队和与表演相关的选修课程来发展表演技能。表演班的学生还会介绍初中和高级演奏会。强烈建议有兴趣参加表演课程的学生在第一年和第二年参加私人课程，为表演课程的试镜做准备。
Our music program will not only give you a deep appreciation of the complexity and richness of musicfrom its basic rules and its range of styles to its performancebut it will also prepare you for a variety of careers. Many of our graduates pursue master's and doctoral degrees in performance, composition, musicology, music production and technology and other related fields. Others go on to become music professors, arts administrators, opera singers, cantors, orchestral musicians, composers, conductors, musical theater directors, TV and record producers, media and digital arts specialistsnot to mention doctors, attorneys and teachers.The track in performance, open to highly qualified students by audition at the end of the sophomore year, develops skills in performance through private lessons, ensembles, and performance-related elective courses selected in consultation with the performance track advisor. Performance track students also present junior and senior recitals. Students interested in pursuing the performance track are highly encouraged to enroll in private lessons during their first and second years, to prepare for the performance track audition.
