The Music BA program is for students who wish to specialize in music and still have time to explore WVU's academic offerings. It's also perfect if you want to combine the study of music by double majoring in a non-music field. The Bachelor of Arts in Music provides the opportunity to major in music while pursuing a broad liberal arts education. Depending upon the courses taken beyond those required for the major, you may prepare for a variety of careers, not just those associated with music. Students who graduate with this degree have a wide variety of career options including freelancing, solo performing and performing in the entertainment industry. Some further their education by attending graduate school in an arts-related field or another field of study.
