You can choose from four different areas of emphasis: choral, general, band, or orchestra. No matter which area you choose, youll receive a comprehensive education that gives you the tools you need to succeed as a teacher as well as extensive performance experience. Our goal is to prepare you to be an outstanding music educator who can serve as a positive role model for your students and assume leadership positions in the field. We define music education broadly, to include traditional public school music and, moreover, all aspects of music pedagogy.
