One of the premier musicology programs in the nation, we offer courses in music from all periods, an outstanding music library, and the resources of a major research university with a comprehensive school of music. But we are also a close, active, and friendly community of scholars. Master's students participate in a Musicology Reading Group to discuss recent literature, while doctoral students find opportunities for close work with faculty and fellow students through our seminars and methods courses.
