The most successful candidates for this program have one or more of the following a a bachelors andor masters degree in music education b at least three to five years of full time K12 music teaching experience c have or are eligible for teacher licensure

Admission is a multistep process Application materials are submitted through The Graduate School at UNCG Upon receipt of a complete application the Music Education Faculty will review and determine if the student is eligible to be interviewed If eligible applicants will be invited to interview for 30-45 minutes with the Music Education Faculty Applicants interested in fulltime study will also be invited for a campus visit Following the interview an admission decision will be made and submitted to The Graduate School which informs students of their official admission status
