With a Master of Arts in Arts Administration-Master of Museum and Heritage Studies dual degree, you will draw on strong connections with cultural and collecting institutions in both Australia and the United States, and be prepared for a career in museum curatorship, cultural heritage management, and arts administration. At the Australian National University, you will learn traditional curatorship and collections management, while also being introduced to new areas that impact national and international cultural policy such as social inclusion, citizenship and community engagement, social activism and museums, indigenous curation and collection, and innovative visitor and audience studies. At SPEA, you will gain the management, policy knowledge, and skills to become an effective arts leader in the public and nonprofit sectors. You will study a range of core skills in the areas of management, audience development, finance, public policy, and fundraising, as well as gain a thorough understanding of the arts and cultural sector.You will graduate with both a Master of Arts in Arts Administration (MAAA) from Indiana University and a Master of Museum and Heritage Studies (MMHS) from the Australian National University.
