The Department of Art, accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design, offers a Bachelor of Arts, a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Master of Arts in Art. Within these degrees there are multiple tracks and emphasis areas to address more specialized study.The Bachelor of Arts in Art: Studio Art Track is a four-year degree that offers a general course of study in studio art and applied design. The studio art track offers the breadth of a liberal arts degree while also providing students with foundational art making skills and development in a range of studio disciplines. This degree is designed for students who have broad academic interests and goals beyond the art studio. The BA in Art: Studio Art Track requires foreign language proficiency and a minor.
