国际学生入学条件

High school graduate: If you are currently in high school, we just need to see your 9-11 (or equivalent) grade transcripts for an admission decision. However, you must graduate from an approved high school (or equivalent) prior to starting classes at CMU.
To ensure your success at CMU, you must provide proof of proficiency in English
Submit official transcripts from your high school. If you have college credits, also submit transcripts from all colleges or universities you have attended.
TOEFL: 550 PBT/79 IBT for regular admission.
IELTS: 6.5 for regular admission.
General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) or General Certificate of Education (GSE): A score of A or B on the English Language Exam.
SAT: Evidence-based Reading and Writing (EBRW) score of 520.
ACT: English score of 21.
ELS Language Center Program: Completion of Level 112 for regular admission.
International Baccalaureate (IB): A grade of 5 in English at the Higher Level is required for regular admission.

课程简介

If you love to act or direct, youve come to the right place. Our theatre program presents some 25 productions a year, including mainstage shows, summer theatre, dance productions and studio theatre. Even as a freshman, youll have many opportunities to practice your skills and get experience on stage and behind the scenes. Our studio theatre series gives you the chance to experiment and try new thingsfrom directing and acting to writing plays, designing costumes, and choreographing. Youll perform in professional-grade spaces, including a 500-seat proscenium theatre, a versatile black-box theatre, a 200-seat round theatre and a recently renovated 75-seat theatre. In small classes, youll learn from expert faculty whose top priority is you. Youll also work with visiting artists who are directors, Fulbright scholars, playwrights and performers. In workshops and lectures, youll learn about emerging concepts and new viewpoints.
