The BA in Theatre is designed to help students master the skills that employers value most, from public speaking and problem solving to creative thinking and collaboration. The end result is a diverse, well-rounded educational foundation that gives students a competitive edge no matter what career path they choose to pursue. The program has three areas of specialization: Performance, Technical, and Film and Media Arts. Students must complete a core curriculum of general education requirements as well as 39 additional credit hours specific to theatre or film. They are also required to gain practical experience by participating in UAH Theatre's main stage productions or film projects throughout their academic career.
