Theatre Arts is dedicated to two primary goals: 1) to provide students with the highest caliber of training in theatre and dance that will allow them to create performances of any kind at any level and 2) to provide the southern Minnesota region with a multi-faceted, high-quality theatrical experience. These goals interweave to provide entertainment and education to those on both sides of the curtain.Theatre skills of acting, directing, management, design, and crafts, are applicable to the entire entertainment industry, including theatre, film, television, radio, etc. As a communication art form, theatre skills are immediately transferable to sales, personal management, public relations, and anything involving interpersonal communication.
