Official High School or College transcripts must be sent directly from the schools attended in the U.S. or abroad. Foreign transcripts must also be accompanied by a Credential Evaluation by a certified credentialing service. All international students must submit entrance exam scores. Take one of the following exams and request your scores to be sent directly to UTEP from the testing center:
SAT: minimum score of 1070 (reading + math sections) with a score of 480 on the reading section
ACT: minimum composite score of 23 with a score of 19 on the English section
TOEFL: minimum score of 500 on UTEP's institutional paper based exam or
a minimum score of 61 on the Internet Based TOEFL (IBT)
UTEP does not accept IELTS scores for admission.

If you have a passion for theatre but want the freedom to take on a second field of study, a Bachelors of Arts in Theatre may be right for you No matter your concentration, a BA in Theatre will equip you with skills and knowledge in every aspect of theatre – from performance to lighting design and everything in between. Beyond this, you will get personalized and specialized training in the concentration of your choice from working professionals. In UTEP's BA Theatre program, you may have a minor in another field of study or even carry a second major. There are four Bachelor of Arts concentrations students can choose from: Generalist, Performance, Design/Technology, and Theatre with Teaching Certification. All Theatre majors must take a minimum of 120 credits to graduate, 45 of which must be at the 3300-4300 level.
