OPTION 1: ADMISSION BASED ON GRADES FROM HIGH SCHOOL
For this option, the SAT or ACT is NOT required for admission.
This option is for students who have already graduated from high school (or will soon graduate from high school).
Students who have attended another college or university will be considered for transfer admission -- even if they do not want transfer credit from their previous school.
Students who have completed AP, IB, or Cambridge A or AS level curriculum are eligible to receive transfer credit.
Students must submit final high school transcripts.
You must submit your official final high school transcript as soon as it is available. If you do not submit your final official transcript to us by the end of your first semester at Wichita State University,
you will not be allowed to enroll for subsequent terms.

A Bachelor of Arts (BA) in dance from Wichita State will give you a well-rounded dance education with a triple-emphasis on modern dance, ballet and jazz. You'll train like a professional and gain real-world experience in on-campus productions and throughout Kansas' center of arts and culture—preparing you for a successful performance career. At Wichita State, applied learning is everything. In fact, every degree we offer has a guaranteed applied learning or research experience built right into it equipping you with the relevant skills and experience to make you workforce ready before graduation. As a BA dance major, you'll take 78 credit hours within the dance program, including courses in acting, dance technique, academicstheory and more. You'll also choose from a number of dance electives, based on your interests and career goals.
