NYFA’s 1-Year Photography Program is an immersive experience designed to equip students with practical photography skills. Throughout the program, students receive instruction and intensive hands-on experience in the technology, aesthetics, business, history as well as the theory of still photography. Under the supervision and mentorship of our faculty of professional Photographers, students gain extensive experience in digital imaging elements and technology, including digital cameras, lighting, post-production, printing, as well as industry-standard software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and Lightroom.<br><br>As the goal of the program is to teach aspiring visual artists practical photography skills and techniques, in this hands-on program, students also complete a variety of projects for their portfolio and also learn how to manage their brand as a photographer. Upon graduation, students will earn a college credit-bearing Certificate. Individuals with varying levels of photography skills are welcome to apply.
