The Certificate in Instructional Design provides preparation in the principles and strategies of instructional design to enhance the competence of practitioners in designing effective and efficient instruction and training for students and employees in schools, government agencies, and private businesses.The curriculum for the Certificate in Instructional Design includes 6 hours of required courses and 6 hours of restricted electives, for a total of 12 hours.The curriculum for all Instructional Design courses is modularized (except ID 560 and ID 570). A student must demonstrate proficiency in each module. All courses will be offered for 3 hours credit (except for Special Topics and Practicum).
