The Bachelor of Arts in Design Studies is an upper-level undergraduate major that embraces the collaborative and comprehensive design process through hands-on and thought-provoking exploration.<br><br>Combining methodologies and processes from both graphic design and industrial design, it focuses on the human experience in the design of communications, objects, and/or services. The BA program introduces design making and design thinking in a studio environment and engages students in various forms of cultural production. The primary goal is the provision of a focused introduction to design practices within the context of a liberal arts education.
