The UD Master of Arts in Interaction Design (MA IxD) is an intense, multi-disci​plinary program in which students are challenged to understand, design and play ​with relationships between people and technology.​The 1-year MA IxD program provides students from various design-related backgrounds with the opportunity to experiment with creative applications of advanced technologies within a nurturing, studio-based environment. Students explore on- and off-screen technologies in the form of new products, experiences, and services with an emphasis on how these technologies affect, augment, and assist human conditions from personal, cultural and sustainable points of view.The MA IxD program offers a truly cross-disciplinary education, taking advantage of the world-class University environment and faculty. In addition to a wide array of electives, the curriculum includes courses in Business/Entrepreneurship, Mechanical Engineering, Design Thinking and Industrial Design that augment the core IxD Studio courses. Program faculty are experts in their fields and understand that our graduates need a working knowledge of how these fields relate and contribute to a highly collaborative, professional IxD practice.
