The Department of Art, accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design, offers a Bachelor of Arts, a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Master of Arts in Art. Within these degrees there are multiple tracks and emphasis areas to address more specialized study.The Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) is a four-year professional degree in studio art. We offer two tracks within the BFA: Fine Art and Applied Design. The Fine Art Track offers emphases in Drawing, Graphic Design, Illustration, Painting, Photography, Printmaking, and Sculpture. The Applied Design Track offers emphases in Furniture Design & Woodworking, Ceramics, and Jewelry & Metalsmithing.
