Ball State's art major (BFA) with a focus on sculpture encompasses artistic traditions while teaching contemporary issues. Faculty members maintain a spacious facility that includes a steel fabrication area, a bronze and aluminum foundry, a mold-making facility, an outdoor area for stone carving, and a well-equipped woodworking and furniture studio. When sculpting, you express yourself as an artist in three dimensions, combining expression and technique with mass, volume, and space.
