The Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) includes intensive studio coursework along with supportive studies in art history and criticism. The Bachelor of Arts (BA) focuses on foundation study, specializations in studio art practices, and a broad foundation in art history.<br>UTSA is all about your success. Numerous resources and facilities are available to provide students the opportunity for research and exploration toward their creative/artistic development. Interdisciplinary work is encouraged. Students will be expected to have a strong work ethic and practice professional skills such as exhibiting, documenting, and writing about and discussing their work within a conceptual framework.
