The Bachelor of Arts with a major in Fine Arts is designed to prepare the student for success in a variety of professions in the visual and performing arts. The Department of Visual and Performing Arts is comprised of three primary areas: art (both studio and art history), music, and theatre (including dance). The degree has some specific requirements, but also offers a wide range of choices for the prospective major. There is a balance between the history or appreciation classes and the theory, performance or studio aspects. There is also a technology arts option with this major.
