Students must achieve a minimum 70% weighted average mark in the first 48 units of courses attempted and have the written approval of a supervisor for the research project to remain enrolled in the Master of National Security Policy (Advanced). Students who do not achieve a minimum 70% weighted average mark or do not have the written agreement of an identified supervisor will be transferred to the Master of National Security Policy.
Academic IELTS - An overall score of 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in each component of the test.
TOEFL PBT - A score of 570 with a TWE score of 4.5
TOEFL iBT - An overall score of 80, with a minimum of 20 in Reading and Writing and 18 in Speaking and Listening.

Join a network of experienced national security practitioners and policy-makers at the National Security College with the highly-regarded Master of National Security Policy (Advanced). This combined coursework and research program offers a multi-disciplinary approach to understanding the current and emerging national security challenges facing our region and the world. Develop the skills to implement and evaluate effective policy responses, and graduate as a future leader in strategy development. You will also have the opportunity to complete a research sub-thesis on a related topic.
