Economics and Politics at Aberdeen is a great subject combination which gives you thorough grounding in the global economy and the many factors that influence wealth from a social and financial perspective. The programme focuses on the role of politics, different political systems and how democracy interacts and influences economies. You will be ideally suited to a career in politics, media or business and with skills transferable to many other sectors of employment.In Economics, you will explore the microeconomics of business and society, macroeconomics of the world economy and economic problems in political, social and historical contexts, with a strong emphasis on applied learning.
