The Master of Public Policy is an opportunity to undertake a research project in public policy, with a focus on northern Australia. You'll explore the region's remote context, the importance of Indigenous peoples and cultures, and its proximity to South-East Asia. You will build the necessary knowledge and skills to engage in effective and ethical research for policy development. This course strengthens your in-depth understanding of the unique challenges and characteristics of doing policy in northern contexts.You explore a variety of political, cultural and social theory approaches to public policy and gain a solid understanding of evidence-based policy development, evaluation, and empirical research theories and methodologies.
