On our English Language and Literature course youll explore and analyse a range of texts and literary techniques from classics of English Literature to popular media such as films and adverts.You get to design your own course based on your interests. With our optional modules, you get the choice of studying an array of genres - including American literature, science fiction, graphic novels and fairy tales. Take your pickYou can also explore a wide range of literary styles and techniques from semantics and pragmatics to stylistics, gender and language, education and language, and corpus linguistics. The choice is yours.
