In this fascinating and varied four-year degree, youll learn two major world languages from beginner level, spend some time learning abroad, and build your understanding of diverse cultures across the world. During your second year, youll spend some time studying in a Russian-speaking country and have the opportunity to spend time in a Portuguese-speaking country, providing invaluable opportunities to practice your language skills and experience each region first-hand. Portuguese-speaking countries are among the most diverse and dynamic in the world. On this course, youll become proficient in Portuguese, and develop a detailed understanding of the cultures and histories of Portuguese-speaking countries in Europe, Latin America, Africa and Asia.<br><br>During your time abroad, youll have the chance to practice and develop your language skills as well as immersing yourself in the local culture. Youll spend some of your year abroad taking an intensive Russian language course in a Russian-speaking country.
