In addition, you will also develop the ability to read and write Japanese to a similar level.This is an academic course of study and time and commitment to after class study is essential for success in this programme. The programme leader will be available to discuss the programme with you to ensure it meets your needs.This programme is intended for those whose first language is not Japanese. The Head of School will, in consultation with the relevant language specialist, determine whether you are a first language speaker.<br><br>On completion of this programme, you will have completed 1,200 hours of Japanese study and this is a sound foundation to build your language skills.<br><br>Many graduates of this certificate programme continue studying towards our Diploma in Japanese or the Bachelor of Language (Japanese).
