This course is designed for learners aged 40 plus who wish to combine studying English with spending time exploring London and learning about British culture. Lessons take place in the morning, with excursions on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons, and one full-day excursion on Saturday. Tuition takes place over 17 hours and 30 mintues, 10 of these take place in the classroom and 17.5 take place in different locations around London. You will:Have the opportunity to study with other mature students who have an interest in learning more about London and British culture.In consultation with your classmates and teacher, select interesting places in London and the local area to visit.Learn the stories behind the places you visit through structured morning lessons and improve your confidence in speaking through discussions.Study practical language to use in various situations with an emphasis on fluency and learn useful vocabulary.Go on 3 half-day excursions per week.Have 1 full-day excursion.
