You are ready to take the next step in filling your basket of knowledge after building your basic understanding of te reo Māori.<br>This semester, you will further develop and consolidate your te reo through a combination of in-classroom and local marae-based culturally immersive experiences, which will help you to build your skills to communicate in familiar everyday contexts and on the marae.<br>Kura-pō ākonga (part-time night students) will also have four noho wānanga throughout the year. These are two immersive days of shared kai and interactive experiences designed so you can practice what you are learning in a real-life environment.<br>You'll learn and practice your pepeha, be able to talk about your day, and feel more comfortable communicating with your whanau and on the marae.
