Physiology is concerned with the working of living organisms. It aims to understand the underlying processes and mechanisms operating in structures from single cells to the whole animal. Whether at the level of basic health or high-level sport, physiology and sports science improves our understanding of the impact of injury, activity and genetics on public health. You'll study in one of the largest Schools of Life Sciences in the UK, drawing on hundreds of years of teaching and research experience. You'll be taught by world-class researchers from our internationally-renowned MVLS research institutes. Our campus development project supports cutting-edge facilities, improved teaching spaces and an enhanced student experience.
