Coaches and instructors are in high demand in Australia. Join the growing sport and fitness industry and become a qualified sports development coach or manager to administrator. This qualification provides you with the skills, knowledge and practical experience to move in to a sport development career. Career opportunities include roles in sports coaching, athlete development and sports projects/administration. Gain the skills and confidence to be ready for employment with over 70 hours of unpaid work experience as part of the diploma's compulsory industry placement. CIT staff will help you coordinate your placement with our industry partners throughout Canberra. With the guidance of your teacher, you will coordinate your own activities within the placement.
