This programme is perfect for personal development and a career path in the outdoors. Based at our Timaru campus, you'll have access to stunning recreational areas in the heart of New Zealand's adventure tourism region. It covers environmental science, exercise science for the outdoors, outdoor recreation risk management, expedition planning, and group dynamics. You'll gain a wide range of outdoor skills in rock climbing, mountaineering, kayaking, tramping, mountain biking and skiing, and you'll finish the year by planning, organising and running a ten-day wilderness expedition.
