Kick off your career in the sports industry at Holmesglen through the Diploma of Sport Development and Diploma of Event Management, delivered with the support of the St Kilda Football Club. The Diploma of Sport Development teaches you how to manage meetings and projects, plan and implement high performance training, coaching and recovery programs and support athletes to adopt principles of sport psychology. Through the Diploma of Event Management, you'll have the opportunity to attend major events such as the Australian Grand Prix, A League soccer and National Basketball League, visit the Victorian Institute of Sport and gain hands-on experience volunteering at a major event. To prepare you for a career as a sport coach, administrator, sports club or event manager, you'll organise swimming and athletic carnivals, and plan, organise and coach various sports and recreational activities.
