This course explores the challenges and the changing approaches to international aid by government, multilateral organisations and non-government aid agencies. You’ll focus on key issues such as poverty reduction, governance, capacity building, and participatory approaches. The course will equip you to be an effective development practitioner in international and cross-cultural settings. The emphasis will be on community-level engagement and tools and skills for project management and participatory development practice.
