Candidates are required to have:
Students are required to complete international qualifications equivalent to New Zealand NCEA Level 3. Entry requirements vary from country to country or a relevant qualification at Level 4 on the NZQF; or equivalent
Alternative requirements: Applicants who are unable to evidence that they meet Academic entry requirements, but who can demonstrate acquired skills for tertiary study gained through study, work and/or life experience, may be approved for alternative entry by the Curriculum Manager (or delegate).
English Language requirements
IELTS test: Academic score of 6.5 with no band score lower than 6. TOEFL Internet-based test (iBT): Score of 79 (with a writing score of 21); PTE (Academic) score of 58 with no band score lower than 50; Cambridge English Qualifications: C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency with a score of 176. No less than 169 in each skill. OET: Minimum of Grade C+ or 300 in all sub-tests. NZCEL - Level 5. Language Cert - C1 Expert International ESOL Written (LRW) HIGH PASS with no less than 25/50 in each skill and Spoken (S) PASS, or C2 Mastery International ESOL Written (LRW) PASS with no less than 25/50 in each skill and Spoken (S) PASS.

课程简介
If your aim is to become a professionally qualified counsellor, this is the programme for you.<br>This programme is focused on providing you with an understanding about the legal and ethical responsibilities of being a counsellor. Learn skills in mental health, addictions and working with whānau, family and children.<br>After completing this programme, you’ll be able to enter the counselling profession at a beginning practitioner level.<br>Practical placements are an essential part of the programme and you’ll spend time working in community agencies and organisations.<br>There will be opportunities to experience counselling yourself and be involved in a group process in your first year.<br>You’ll have developed the skills and professional attributes to enable you to work collaboratively within this increasingly complex and interdisciplinary sector.
