Students are required to complete international qualifications equivalent to New Zealand NCEA Level 3. Entry requirements vary from country to country. OR
A relevant qualification at Level 4 on the NZQF; or equivalent
Alternative requirements: Applicants who are unable to evidence that they meet Academic entry requirements, but who can demonstrate acquired skills for tertiary study gained through study, work and/or life experience, may be approved for alternative entry by the Curriculum Manager (or delegate).
English language requirements:
- IELTS academic score of 6.5 academic no band score lower than 6.5, OR
- TOEFL Internet-based test (iBT) score of 85 or higher with a writing score of 22.
Other requirements
Candidates are required to indicate whether they have been convicted of, or are being prosecuted for, a criminal offence. Prior to commencing the programme all successful candidates will be required to complete a police vetting form. The Clean Slate Act does not apply and some types of criminal conviction may limit the ability to secure practicum placements and therefore complete the programme.

课程简介
The Bachelor of Social Work qualification will provide you with the core professional competencies and attributes required to enter the social work profession.<br>Achieve provisional registration at the level of a beginning practitioner. This is the first step to becoming a fully registered social worker after completing two years of supervised practice.<br>Alongside the academic component, field placement is a significant element in this programme which will enable you to get first-hand experience through voluntary work and supervised placements in a social service agency. <br>You will also develop a range of flexible skills and professional attributes which will position you to be responsive to and to work collaboratively within the increasingly complex and interdisciplinary social service and health communities. <br>The skills you can during this degree are also applicable across a wide range of roles.
