It delivers effective skills in counselling, social policy, advocacy and welfare, as well as practical experience working with individuals and communities. Upon completion, you may apply for membership in the Australian Community Workers Association, the peak body for community service professionals.The Bachelor of Applied Social Science in Community Services has been designed to prepare you for employment in a role which leverages advocacy, social policy and community development to improve and support the lives of others. You will be ready to begin working in the dynamic field of community services.
