If you have a genuine interest in caring for older people then our course in individual support will help you gain essential, person-centred skills and knowledge to care for and support older people living in residential and aged-care facilities. In this health course, you'll learn how to provide physical and psychosocial support for older people, including how to: support people who may be living with dementia and/or other illnesses, provide palliative care, prevent falls,support independence and wellbeing,develop communication skills in health and community services. You'll understand how to comply with the accreditation requirements in the aged-care sector, and you'll be ready to deliver outstanding customer service and support to older people.
