Environmental law is a broad field which also covers sustainable development. It requires an interdisciplinary understanding and core legal knowledge. Our LLM Environmental Law covers the main environmental protection legal and policy issues. Our course will help you to address major environmental challenges and drive change. You will enhance your skills and knowledge to help solve environmental problems. You will also develop your understanding of factors that impact environmental issues. These include political, social and economic factors. Core module content is taught using a comparative approach. This enables you to apply the knowledge and skills you gain anywhere in the world. We have an excellent staff-student ratio at the University of Dundee. LLM seminars are often delivered in small classes. This allows for higher quality discussions which greatly enhances the learning experience. You will be provided with reading and questions to work through in advance, so your classes will be highly participative and engaging.
